چکیده

Acute myeloid leukemia is a genetically heterogeneous clonal disease defined by the accumulation of immature cells in bone marrow and blood. The aim this study to evaluate CD33, CD11b, HLA-DR expression Iraqi AML patients its role evasion malignant from immune system. This was conducted on 60 with 20 healthy individuals as control group CD33 CD11b using flow-cytometry peripheral blood, Interferons-γ (IFN-γ) Transforming Growth Factor-β1 (TGF-β1) levels. A statistically non-significant difference (P < 0.005) between regard observed. Analysis myeloid-derived suppressor (MDSCs) showed significant decrease proportion positive MDSC isolated blood samples (88.078 ± 1.284). Also, high (98.841±1.935) cells. mean level IFN-γ (pg/ml) increased compared (9.202 0.244), (7.906±1.22), respectively. While TGF- β1 concentration found be elevated (69.04 9.92) (33.884 2.888). In conclusion, circulating MDSCs were significantly characterized CD33+CD11b + phenotype; TGF-β1 can released presence native human affect cell proliferation

Regulatory T Cells and Myeloid-Derived Suppressor Cells in Patients with Peptic Ulcer and Gastric Cancer

Background: Regulatory T Cells (Tregs) and Myeloid-Derived Suppressor Cells (MDSCs) are two main regulatory cells modulating the immune responses in inflammation and cancer. Objective: To investigate and compare Tregs and MDSCs in peptic ulcer and gastric cancer. Methods: Patients with dyspepsia were selected and divided into three groups of non-ulcer dyspepsia (NUD, n=22), peptic ulcer disease...

The Role of Myeloid-Derived Suppressor Cells in Immune Ontogeny

Myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSC) are a heterogeneous population of granulocytic or monocytic cells that suppress innate as well as adaptive immune responses. In healthy adults, immature myeloid cells differentiate into macrophages, dendritic cells, and granulocytes in the bone marrow and MDSC are rarely detected in peripheral blood. However, in certain pathologies, in particular malignan...

Osteoclasts in Multiple Myeloma Are Derived from Gr-1+CD11b+Myeloid-Derived Suppressor Cells

Osteoclasts play a key role in the development of cancer-associated osteolytic lesions. The number and activity of osteoclasts are often enhanced by tumors. However, the origin of osteoclasts is unknown. Myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSCs) are one of the pre-metastatic niche components that are induced to expand by tumor cells. Here we show that the MDSCs can differentiate into mature and ...
